"We booked here for 2 nights, but only stayed an hour, as we were upset about the poor animals living on the 'farm'. Nothing wrong with the rooms or the swimming pool, but the poor horses & donkeys are kept in awful living conditions. One horse had a huge wound on his leg, which was oozing with puss & covered in flies. The horses are very thin, with prominent ribs. The donkeys have no fresh water, only a green slimy area. "Pros: Nice property in a centrally located area. Good support from property management. It has a washing machine which was a major plus if you are trying to travel light. The Milan Duomo is outstanding as is the Castle Sforzesco. Numerous day trips available to nearby locations like lake Como.
