"The rooms were very nice inside, the outside looks like a simple motel. There apparently was a boil order but they never told us guests until next morning and only because I came in to office. Friends made coffee with tap water…. I would suggest some hooks in the bathroom."

"We had an incredible stay very close to the Mark Twain National Forest! The property was clean, well-maintained, and perfectly situated right on the St. Francis River, making it an ideal spot. We loved hiking and swimming in the nearby shut-ins (it was warm enough in March!). The peacefulness of the area was exactly what we were looking for. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with beautiful surroundings, this is the perfect place. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Our family of 4 stayed two nights so we could hike Elephant Rocks and Johnson's Shut-Ins. Cute little house, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Had warm weather and really enjoyed the Adirondack chairs on the front porch for morning coffee. We did discovered that being in town in March, Tuesday-Thursday, meant many businesses were not open. Checo's Mexican, Arcadia Valley Coffee, and the The Iron Mule were all delightful, and we are food/coffee snobs from Chicago :-)"

"Not only was this in a very convenient location for our stay, but the downstairs area has a great game room that we didn’t originally see on the description. Plenty of bedrooms and little extras that were very thoughtful. Things like USB plug-ins and a heated blanket and plenty of towels and dishes."
