"This is a downtown Hamilton property gem in a depressed area of town. It is conveniently located across from the conference centre. The drawback is that there are many homeless people milling about the dirty and busy streets in the immediate neighbourhood. The property itself was nicely decorated for the holiday season, staff were friendly and helpful and the place was very clean. We would return and recommend."

"The staff were very friendly and the area was ideal. Set in the heart of downtown, nearly everything was within walking distance, and the train station was less than a ten minute drive away. The path along the water was a huge selling feature for us. We enjoyed a daytime walk to the park with our youngest, and an evening romantic stroll as well. Breakfast was free and included. Parking was additional at $15/day which we didn't realize, but not a huge deal. Would go back again."

"The Visitor's Inn is a great find! It's extremely well maintained and is very clean. It provides excellent value for the price. Unfortunately, it's sandwiched between a highway and a busy road, so it's fairly noisy. Still, I'd highly recommend it for anyone needing an economical place to stay in Hamilton."

"Our stay was absolutely amazing! The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean. We arrived early after along night travelling and they were able to allow us to check in earlier than normal. Because our room wasn’t ready they upgraded our stay. An amazing 3 days. "
