This hotel is a hidden gem in the area. I absolutely love how the ground floor rooms have parking right outside sliding doors into the rooms. It makes moving items from the car into and out of the room very easy (especially with a big dog). The rooms also very clean and well-managed for the price. Last but not least, the staff have always been very friendly, fast, and helpful.

Very clean - very tidy - very polite/friendly staff. It exceeded expectations within this price range. For it's age, the inevitable and unavoidable signs of wear and tear were nearly impossible to spot. They've updated bits (furniture, bathroom bits like the sink) to make it look fresh. Even the shower curtain was pristine (one of the strange things I notice - hehe). Very happy - while I don't travel there often, I'd definitely stay there again - without question. Oh - proximity to the highway was convenient.

The bed was god awful. My partner is 6'4" and his feet were hanging off the bed by his calves. They were so hard that it was difficult to sleep. The room smelled like b.o. right away. And the person at the front desk was smoking in the front door when we arrived, which was unprofessional and strange for a place with no smoking.
