"We always return to this hotel when we’re on our way to the south west.Even though it needs a massive overhaul in appearance,it’s location and views are stunning."

"Hotel was in a good position - easy to find. The receptionist was extremely helpful, and check in and out simple. The room was a good size, with comfortable beds. There is no housekeeping but you could request additional tea/coffee etc if needed. Lots of car parking spaces."

"Amazingly good staff - friendly and efficient. Surprised no dining room for evening meals but with such good (Michelin starred?) pub 3 minutes walk away they were forgiven. New batteries, with cleaned contacts, were needed in the safe so it was a good job that we weren't too worried about leaving valuables in our room. Excellent breakfast!"
