Lovely La Maddalena

"The house is beautiful and was comfortable for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we might have needed. The real stars of this home are the patio areas and the view! Absolutely could not be better! While the listing indicates that the home has three bedrooms, be aware that the third bedroom is accessed from an outside door (that is locked securely). The entrance has a slope and a number of stairs, so that is something to consider if there is anyone with mobility concerns. My only other comment is that the main bedroom’s bed was a bit firm - but that is strictly a personal preference. Overall, if you are looking for a comfortable place - very separate from the town area (you will need transportation), this is an excellent choice! "

Villa with sea view a stone's throw from the beach

Incredibly overpriced

"The sea view is just barely there, and when you say "a stone's throw from the beach" as the title of your listing, where I'm from, that means that the beach is only as far as you can throw a stone. Not at all the case. You can't even see it, and if I didn't see people walking to and from a certain direction with swimsuits, I wouldn't have known where it was. I paid over $500 per night for this place because I assumed it was practically on the beach. I was depressed the whole time by how much I was paying and how it shouldn't ever be more than $250 per night max."

"Hotel was a 5 minute walk from the ferry. We had a sea view so could watch the ferries come and go. It was well soundproofed and very quiet. Room was clean. Beds and pillows rather hard. The staff were lovely and very helpful. They gave us advice on boat tours around the islands (amazing) local buses to the beaches (€1 at tabac store or €1.50 on the bus) The front desk rented beach towels for €4/day. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of choices, and staff were happy to make us cappuccinos. The rooftop patio had lots of potential, with great views, but was rather neglected with a few sunbeds and armchairs but no real shade. The hotel was within walking distance of the beautiful harbour, restaurants and shops. Highly recommended."

Just incredible!

"We spent 9 magical nights in this beautiful house in the most incredible location. We have never stayed anywhere quite like it. We spent our days swimming in the bay or visiting the wonderful beaches, then the evenings eating by the water and sitting under the stars! We feel so lucky and cannot wait to come back! Thank you so much."

A lovely “must visit again” vacation.

"The hotel is amazing; multiple swimming pools, great private beach, friendly staff, good and quick service, food is delicious. The negatives: espresso machine at the room cost €2.5 euros per day, no water for free (only available upon check-in. The curtains can only help 80% of sunshine, next-door occupants may be heard “soft walls and it wakes you up”. Anyways, i will come again here due to the mentioned points and the near locations to touristic points and porto cervo. 4 to 5 nights is enough for North East Sardinia. "
