"We stayed at the Sonesta for one night. Our experience at check-in was probably one of the best we had ever had. Happy smiling faces, great service and the welocme drink. Then at breakfast the next day we were addressed by name (very rarely experienced) and asked regularly if we had everything we needed. I jokingly said I wished they had tamales but apparently they only have these on Sundays. So imagine my surprise and delight when the waiter returned to tell me that he had spoken with the chef and they were going to prepare a tamale for me if I could wait. I was so delighted and humbled by this marvellous attention to detail and the desire to please a guest. Would definitely stay at the Sonesta again."

"Beautiful Hotel in the chic part of town. The top terrace has a great view of town! Staff is very kind and service minded! The bathroom is spacious, the rooms are very comfortable, buffet breakfast is absolutely delicious with little touches from Colombian food! This is my 2nd stay and I will definitely go back next time I am in town. "

"This hotel really made our stay in Salento wonderful. We got a large room upstairs with a king sized bed. The beds were so comfortable and the showers hot with great water pressure. The rooms and common space were decorated well, with cute porches and hammocks outside. The hotel is located walking distance to downtown and entre bosques coffee farm. The best part of staying here was the staff. Valentina and Yidleydi went above and beyond to help us with whatever we needed (restaurants, coffee tours, etc). Orlando who works there even drove his motorbike for us to follow him to get air in our tires. Make SURE you take advantage of the wonderful spa experiences Gisele and Natalia provide! Gisele was so wonderful, applying aloe to our sunburns and bug bites. I would recommend noise cancelling headphones and/or white noise if you are a light sleeper. But overall we loved staying here. "
