"Me and my mum visited Como for a few days and this was the perfect place to stay! It was so easy to find as it was located very close to the train station. The host Stefano is absolutely lovely. "Everything was perfect about this property. The only down side was a sewer stench coming from the bathroom; however all of the other qualities made it tolerable. The steps were no problem unless maybe you are older or injured. Marco was sweet but did better answering calls rather than texts. The room had a cozy vibe and the bed was so nice, like sleeping on grandma’s sheets. The wood ceiling in our room was beautiful. We could walk easily to everything. The price was a great value. "

"It was very cute and homely, however the interior design was a little bit outdated but nothing which impacted the stay. The initial directions given were a little bit confusing but once we asked the reception we were guided to the right path. "The service was terrible: no hot water, not sufficient sheets for the number of beds…construction workers showing up at 8:00 am to work in the unit…of course, because there were broken things in the washroom and even holes in the walls…and the check-in process was a nightmare ( multiple calls and messages without response…). When we booked this place we assumed it was a hotel, it is not. We have been staying in hotels in several italian cities and this place was the worst by far."
