"This is slightly off the touristy line but terrific to get a more local flavor. About an easy mile walk to many tourist sights. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices although I would have lined it to start before 830. I also did not realize that there was a shared bathroom but in 5 days this was only an issue once. I really liked walking the neighborhood beyond the tourist regular locations. Thanks for a nice stay."

"It goes above and beyond for the expectations for a 2 star hotel. Also it has free parking , which in Florence is great. Breakfast was good and varied. The area is beautiful, calm and silent, we really slept well and our room was warm in a cold winter night. It’s basic but what do you expect from a 2 star place? It has some common area in the outside, which is ok for summer. But it need means of transport for Florence, so if you go out at night you’ll have to take a taxi (20 euros). This place...

"The property was pretty, the views were great, our room was huge, and, the bed was comfortable with a jetted tub. For those who travel here, it is great if you have a car or taxi as it is a 1/2 mile up a steep long driveway. I also suggest that guests bring snacks and beverages as there are none on the property and it is hard to find staff if you have questions."

"Luca and Mario our hosts are attentive caring hosts who offer fabulous be spoke service to their guests. The hotel is a beautiful unique and calm place to rest after a busy day seeing the sights. We enjoyed long days in the city centre and quiet evenings at the hotel as it was a little too far for us to travel back in for supper. We were not disappointed as Luca offered to make us supper which was delicious and made us feel very special. Very reasonable price as well. I highly recommend a stay...

"Calm, serene, quiet are hallmarks of the B&B. No wonder so many foreigners are buying old farm houses. The adventure is the drive down a long winding dirt road to the farm house; imagining that the road has not changed since the house was built in the 1200s. Very, very cool!"

Kim was very helpful and the owner Simone was also very welcoming. Accommodation is a long walk from the centre but close to the viewing platform for great views over the city. "
