"We and a group of friends enjoyed a one night stay at the Feathers in February 2025. We occupied room 216 which overlooks the high st. The room was on the small side but was comfortably furnished and the bathroom was a good size and had been recently refurbished and spotlessly clean. "Stormy weather closed in from the West and we chose this hotel as a halfway point between home and our destination to break the journey. The following morning, staff were very friendly and helpful looking up local weather and road reports for us and offering to extend our stay if needs be. The restaurant was very pleasant, the food well presented and tasty."

"What a beautiful hotel, lovely Sherry on arrival (thank you) and such warm and welcoming wonderful staff who were faultless and so kind. Such a comfortable bed and lovely room. Could have been cleaner in places but beds spotless. Lovely bathroom. Breakfast was delish, felt really spoilt with the choice. Only negative is that we didn’t get to sleep until 4am as so much noise from room above and room adjacent. So next time I will bring ear plugs! Thank you for a wonderful stay. "
