"I booked the Balmoral because it was in the historic district downtown, so I knew we'd be in the center of the city. I wanted to see the old section and we found the Museum of Costa Rica, which is housed in an old fort, right downtown. There was an restaurant sort of attached to the hotel which was very convenient and perfect for a nice dinner. Our room was very spacious, the bathroom had been remodeled and the was was hot - a must for us! The only thing missing was a washcloth, but I had packed one so we were good. the staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Overall a great experience."

Good restaurant, simple food but well presented, good security, not to far from downtown, but only reproach I can do, we be for the owner will be to do a face lifting to the entrance of its property, which is not very appealing, and some renovations inside the rooms, and fixtures, specifically plumbing difficult to have hot water!"
