"This is in an idyllic forest setting. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fun and tasty. There is parking outside and across the road. WiFi is great. It's the opposite of quiet but the noises are rainforest sounds and cattle, which is restful in a different way. The rooms are pretty basic and a little tired but have everything you need. It's convenient for the airport and river but there is no hiking near to the property. "

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Pagua Bay House. The property is close to the airport and has convenient parking. The room was clean, the bed was soft, the shower was huge, the pool was refreshing and everything sits on a beautiful cliff overlooking the ocean. The onsite restaurant and bar had great food and drinks as well. We will return for sure. Highly recommend!!"

"Nixson and his mother are lovely. He took time to make sure I was comfortable, and kindly shared his knowledge of the plants in his garden with me Fridge, hot shower, comfy bed, nearby shops, atm, restaurants Some mozzies but there are nets so I slept great I went to Batibou beach nearby, about a 1hr walk, or 10 min drive. My jaw was on the floor 😍 I enjoyed my stay. Thank you"

"The hotel is stunningly beautiful, clean and accommodating. The main issue was food and beverage service. The staff had no clue on how to wait on tables, present menus, serve beverage or food. We waited 45 minutes for 4 drinks only to be brought one, told two weren’t available and had to wait again for the last. It was disappointing at best. Food was good but they need training in their restaurants! "
