"Locates conveniently near the Barracks shopping center, is surprisingly quiet given the fact that the busy intersection of Emmet and US250 is only about 100 meters away. The management make great effort to keep the property in great shale at a reasonable price to the customer. I would recommend staying there. If you don't mind a 5 minute walk, you wouldn't even need a care to get anywhere around C'ville - the bus service is excellent and free of charge. "

There was a refrigerator in the room as well as a steamer! And parking was free. The location was perfectly wonderful! The room was immaculate, comfortable, quiet and exceeded any expectation for the price! "

"To say we were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Jeff Studio would be a huge understatement! I booked a room for my husband and myself and one for a dear friend (we were treating him). The two rooms were right next to each other. They were obviously very recently updated and very beautiful as well as comfortable! We are seniors and have stayed in hotels and VRBOs in the US and abroad and this room was exceptional for the price. The location in the heart of a quaint street (no cars) in Charlottesville,VA with dining options outside and shopping just made for a perfect visit! The Jeff Studio was quiet and "different" as it was situated above a theater (I checked before to make sure there was nothing going on that night). Parking was free. The lot was a short walk from the entrance to the building but it was explained to us beforehand so it was not a problem. All in all the room, location, communication with the owner, everything about our experience was way above 5 stars!!!!!"
