YHA Brecon Beacons - Hostel

3.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (41)
"Quite remote. Staff gave us free left over curry which was very nice. Beverage options are vast. About a 30 minute drive from pen y fan. Only had WiFi in the main rooms though. No signal or WiFi in the room we were in. We only stayed for one night so it didn’t matter for us. cheap and cheerful. "

8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (22)
"The Danywenallt Hostel is in a lovely position. The route to the hostel is well signed making it easy to locate but the access road may cause some cars to "bottom out." The staff were friendly and very helpful. "

"Exceeded all expectations. The property is beautiful, cosy, and perfectly set up for large groups. More bathrooms/ensuites than you can count, comfy linen, stocked kitchen, and a table big enough for all guests to enjoy dinner together. Extra callout to the extremely comfy chairs around the log fire, perfect for a quiet weekend of reading. Coralie is an exceptional host, responsive, informative, and friendly. If the place is available for your dates, stop reading and book. It is wonderful. We...

Stunning Home With Captivating Views Nearby

7.0 out of 10, Good, (2)
"Property was not well looked after. Blinds were missing from Windows, surfaces had not been cleaned, the kitchen was missing many essential items such as forks, broken glass outside the back door, last guests dirty laundry left in the dinning room, the list goes on. Really put a downer on the first day of the holiday. I don't expect to have to provide essentials like forks and kitchen knives and clean on arrival. Manager of property was initially understanding but is now ignoring my emails."
