"My wife and I stayed for a 4 day weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were greeted on the driveway by Walter who was extremely friendly. We got to the cabin and had a plate of muffins and a fruit tray in the fridge. The nature trail under Sophie (a large live oak) was great and had a wonderful swing underneath it. The stocked pond was low and it was fun to feed the fish. I do recommend you bring a black light flashlight to use at night if you aren’t staying inside. There are bark scorpions that mostly run and hide but you don’t want to accidentally step on. There is no stove but a charcoal grill and fire pit are there to cook your meals. The hot tub and screened in orchard lovely and the morning visits from the cows were nice as well. We will be looking forward to staying again for our next anniversary. "

"Was driving through and needed a place to sleep. This is a simple, no frills, quiet, older motel that has all you need for a quick overnight stay. Bed was comfortable, AC was cold, shower was hot and price can’t be beat "
