"It is very nice. It is far from town and so you almost have to eat at the restaurant, which is nice but very expensive."

"We were in Belize City for a wedding and started at a different hotel. We left because of the lack of amenities and moved to Fort George. From the moment we walked in service was friendly and helpful. The hotel has a pool and a workout room. The pool appears to be new and was very nice. We spent an entire day hanging at the pool. We stayed in the 2 bedroom penthouse and our room was beautiful. We had an amazing view and a large balcony. There was a space with a desk to work. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom had a very nice soaking tub and a huge shower with great water pressure. The restaurant does not have the best food but the staff is so friendly and it is so comfortable sitting in the greehouse. There are also several restaurants in the area including a Chinese restaurant that has amazing curry and Martha's breakfast restaurant which has delicious vegan waffles. The hotel is also in very close walking distance to the ferry for Caye Caulker and San Pedro. If going to Belize, I highly recommend no more than one day in Belize City and the rest of the time on the islands (the food is much better, there are beaches, and there is much more to do). There is no beach area in Belize City. "

"Tapas bar was great, people were nice, but the excursions didn’t work unless you were there on a day that had a cruise ship come in. "

"We loved our stay here for two nights. It was peaceful, quiet, and very laid back. The pool was refreshing and quite. Pool side cocktails were great! Our room as rather large and river front. Super nice! We spent a lot of time with Edmund, and he was absolutely wonderful. He gave us a tour to the Baboon Sanctuary. He is local and very knowledgeable. He was also our shuttle driver from Belize City and back to the airport when we left. Our waitstaff was amazing as well. We celebrated our 3rd anniversary here and they made it extra special. The food was really tasty. We even had Howler Monkey's on property one night. Super fun. "

"Enjoyed a beautiful rain storm in the covered and mosquito proofed deck of our cabana. This is a quaint and beautiful little spot on the river, just minutes from the airport. Just make sure to bring your bug spray since, being riverside and in the jungle, you’ll need it. "

"The staff was exceptionally hospitable and friendly. The hotel is within walking distance of several nice restaurants and bars, and there is a convenient store nearby. I was very happy with the hotel staff, and the price was very reasonable."
