"The hotel is best known for the ceilings in the restaurant which are beautiful. The entire stay there were long queues of people surrounding the hotel, waiting to eat in the restaurant, which was not bad but also not amazing. The hotel has the original building which is elaborate and older while my room was in a separate building which was newer. The room was nice and had good lighting and mood. However I couldn't get any heat so it was kind of cold the entire time which was not pleasant. It was...

"This was an amazing hotel to stay at in Budapest. Location was great, near St Stephen’s Basillica. The service and attention to detail is as good as I have seen in a hotel starting from the bellmen, the check-in process, and the wait staff at Breakfast. Our check person recommended restaurant and got us reservations. The rooms are very spacious with a big bathroom tub and shower. Our room had a balcony overlooking courtyard. Full breakfast that was complimentary. "

"Lovely hotel overlooking the Danube. Nice bar area and restaurant. Excellent buffet breakfast with a lot of choice. Room was a really good size with a fabulous view. The only negative is that the housekeeping was poor. Room was very dusty when we arrived and daily service wasn't great. This wouldn't stop me recommending the hotel though as everything else was lovely and we thorougly enjoyed our stay. "

"Hotel in an excellent location. At a main intersection with public transportation to any point in the city. Large and well-equipped rooms. There is a pleasant piano bar in the evenings. Plenty of restaurants and cafes and a supermarket nearby. The staff is also helpful in every matter."

"The shower was broken. I told the concierge on the first day, and after 4 nights there it was still not fixed. It floods past my ankles and sprayed everywhere and the shower head kept falling. Additionally, my water bottles were not replaced daily (even after leaving a note asking the cleaning person). I had to ask multiple times for more toiletries. Very clean though and beautiful property. Just a little "grey gardens-y""
