"It has a palatial feel. Everything's marble and ornate. It's conveniently located in the center of the city, and there are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. It's close to many of the top attractions, but it's quiet. Getting to the parking garage is an adventure; you really have to follow their detailed instructions to have any hope of getting there. Rooms are quiet and well appointed, staff are friendly and all speak good English. "

"Get an upper floor rear building room with a view of the Alhambra; it’s worth the upcharge. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of food. Our refrigerator didn’t work even after the in-house service person thought he fixed it. Management replaced the refrigerator on our second day. One tip on the electrical system of the room: there are two wall switches by the door, one operates a ceiling light, one appeared to do nothing. Apparently that second switch is a master control for some, but not all wall outlets and lights. It would be nice if management explained that. The hotel is located in a restricted access area. It can only be accessed on foot or by taxi. Streets are extremely narrow with little to no sidewalk width. The last half block is stairs. "
