"Excellent accommodations. The house is one of Brussels oldest standing houses and has an interesting past which is seen throughout the house. The location is perfect; short walking distance to the main square in old town and not to far from subways. Marc the owner is amazing; goes above and beyond to insure you have a great stay. "Walking up four flights of steep stairs to access our small room with no heat, no refrigerator, no hot water and zero water pressure was just the beginning of this nightmare. Tried to communicate with host about our displeasure to no avail. Outside temperature was below freezing and room was barely above freezing. Apparently the bottom floor is somewhat of a shared area with a stove etc but definitely not something I would want to share with others. Would not recommend"

"Unfortunately the place was extremely dirty and the room did not correspond to the one I have booked. There was a lot of dust on the furniture, the pavement was filthy and found dirty toilet paper in the bathroom. It is very close to Brussels Midi station which can be a plus but the area is not so safe if you are traveling alone."
