"The property is wonderfully located. It is a nice historic house and the bedroom and bath are very spacious. The problem for us was that the tub is a high step over the rim and the shower is only hand held. Since my husband has double knee replacement, this was a problem and providing a step stool would have made life easier. Although I like a chilly bedroom at night, it was also quite cold during the day. The owner seemed quite put out that we mentioned these problems."

"Wow! What a beautiful property. Walking in we were greeted by Mario. He was warm and friendly and assisted with check-in as well as recommendations for places around Brussels. This B&B is located central To everything you would need (restaurants, bars, grand place, manneken pis etc. were all right around the corner). "The location is extremely close to all beautiful attractions. Walking distance to malls and historical places; chocolate shops. The stairs are so sharp and our room was on 4 th floor. I made a booking almost 1 month ahead and I am almost 60 years old. I asked them to give us a lower level room. No availability. And the toilet was outside. Make sure you don’t get the 4 th level."

"It was a shame that we could only stay here for a few nights because we absolutely loved our stay. The property really has a classic old-world feel to it. But, it’s also very clean and our room was very spacious. The owner did a wonderful job restoring the building and is an excellent host. Highly recommend staying here. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else if I ever find myself back in Brussels again. "

"The hotel and rooms were great. This was built in 1764, so it has been remodeled a number of times. It really has a nice comfortable feel to it and the breakfast was great in the morning. It is also within walking distance to the major sites in the center of Brussels, but that is the challenging part as well. The neighborhood is known for car break ins. Do not leave anything at all in your car if you park on the street. We were fortunate to not lose anything, but a broken window. The police...

"Everything was very good except for the fact that I could not get into the hotel upon arrival. Evidently I was supposed to receive a code but never got it. Thankfully, the owner/manager answered the phone and was able to buzz me in. I should add that the breakfast was astonishing. In short, one mix up but a high level of hospitality. I plan to go back, making sure to get a code to get in. Outstanding location too!"
