"Although the house was small, it was just right for the two of us. It was super clean, nicely decorated with modern furniture and finishes, and most importantly, close to the beach. Our only complaints are that the beds were full-size instead of queen or king, and the furnace/air conditioning was a little loud in the bedroom. We had an issue connecting to the WiFi at first, and although we figured it out on our own, the rental agency and owner were very responsive when we first reported it and even offered to come fix the issue. I really appreciated that."

"We traveled to Oak Island for a friend’s wedding. The condo was beautiful and provided everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to beach access as well as several shops and restaurants!! "

"Nice place to stay. Very clean.the only issue i had was the beds were soft which was nice but it was hot. The location is convenient, the ocean is across the street and the pier is couple of blocks so you can walk."

"From the cute beach bungalow feeling upon entry to the dog friendly set up, Sandy Paws is the perfect home base for a beach getaway with kids, dogs or both. The house is well kept & homey. There are even games should your stay have a rainy day. The kitchen has ample pots & pans, plates & cups. The back yard is perfect for relaxing or grilling a burger or steak on the provided grill while the dogs play tug o war or enjoy some zoomies. Highly recommend & look forward ti our next stay."

"The property overall was good but it needs some paint on the hall walls. Very scratched and dirty. There was still a lot of sand on the floor when we walked in but it is the beach. You have to make your own beds when you get there and I’ve never had to do that before. I think for that much money that should be included. Maybe something they will consider doing later ???The hood vent for the stove was hanging down so that was bad looking. A little talc would go a long way. Overall beautiful property! Not sure if I would stay again."
