"Beautiful property. Saw seals from living room catching fish. Front door did not lock but it’s a safe neighborhood but a bit isolated. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Laundry facilities were a great help! Gorgeous views of the water and excellent service and communication."

"This house was amazing. It was way better than we expected after looking through the pictures online. The outdoor space and the house itself are beautiful and the pictures do it zero justice. We were worried at first about the lack of AC, but the house cooled right down once we opened the windows let the air in. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to visit Boothbay. It was so close to the main area, but you couldn’t even tell- it felt like you were immersed in nature."

Plus, the bed was unbelievably comfortable. The hosts were easy to communicate with and it was clear that they valued our experience. The hosts left us personalized goodies and took us on a complimentary boat tour. We have never had such a good rental experience. Thank you!"

"Boomfish Cottage is a cozy place with everything you could need . It was clean , comfy and serene . It provided the perfect calm for us during a weekend long family wedding at nearby Caswell Flower Farm . It was also easy access for an older person ( me) as well as small children and my little ShihTzu rescue dogs . My granddaughters came by and loved catching minnows in the still warm lake. "What a wonderful stay. The views were absolutely amazing. Kitchen well equipped. We bought live lobsters just $10 a lb from Hannafords (try also the French baguette) just 12 min drive and cooked them, clams and corn all in the steamer provided. Lounge seating very comfortable. Cooks corner area has everything incl Walmart superstore. David was a wonderful host. Could not speak too highly of him. He came out late at night when I could not work something out."

The only hiccups we had was that the check in code we were given was one digit off from what it actually was so we had a little trouble getting into the house. If you have any issues with mobility you should look elsewhere, but that is disclosed in the listing. The last set of stairs are very steep, but we found it charming. I highly recommend this rental.
