"The hotel is set in a small village on the top of a hill overlooking Lake Como. The view is gorgeous, the restaurant was awesome and the staff are so lovely. I didn’t find the room particularly comfortable but we stayed in the least expensive room so perhaps the more expensive ones are a bit cozier. Our room was very basic and a bit run down but it’s an old building and has a lot of charm. Overall, it’s lovely but if you want luxury, I would recommend upgrading your room to a suite. "This place has the most incredible views. Everyone is so friendly and it was like going home each day. The only reason i didnt give top stars was the sleeping arrangement. We booked for 5 people and got 4 beds. Luckily our son was able to sleep with us in the big bed. "

"We were greeted be a friendly, happy gentleman even though we had been delayed until 10.30pm. He managed the checkin smoothly. The room had 2 single beds as requested, my mattress was a little lumpy. The off suite bathroom toilet was clean and functional, the shower was good.
