"Bank Cottage was a great spot for our family to stay the weekend. We loved the spot on the river and the garden was safe for our little ones. We didn’t have to worry about anyone falling in the Severn! The cooking and dining facilities were fine and we enjoyed the sitting area overlooking the patio. The sitting room at the back of the property was rather dark and we didn’t use it but I can imagine it being a cosy space in winter. As mentioned by a previous guest there was a smell of oil/fuel...

"We booked the property as we were attending a family wedding in the area and we are so glad we did. The location of the cottage is lovely, with a grassed area at the front and paddocks behind. My son was completely in love with the horses, and also enjoyed regular visits from residents dog Bella and cat Archie! The property itself is lovely and homely and we felt really welcome by owner Laura, who came out to say hello when we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised to find that Laura has left us...

"We stayed here as a family to celebrate my son’s 40th birthday and had a wonderful time. The house was immaculate and well equipped. The bedrooms were lovely, beds comfortable and tv, kettle and coffee/ tea making supplies in each room. The welcome pack was very generous with a selection of goodies that made the children’s eyes light up. Maybe the kitchen/ lounge diner was smaller than photos suggested but met all our needs. We walked to the local Hare and hounds to eat which had a varied menu...

"My husband and I have had a lovely short break in the cottage while I competed at the RDA National Championships held at Hartpury College which is only 2 miles away. The cottage is lovely and clean, comfortable beds, equipped with everything you need. Milk, tea, coffee and cake in the cottage when we arrived which was a nice touch. Seats outside your door or around the gardens where there’s a lovely pond and friendly ducks. Wish we’d found you when we first started coming down to Hartpury but...
