"Spent several nights at home for our anniversary. House was nestled in woods, away from it all and remote, which was just what we needed. Well maintained, clean, and quiet. Hot tub was a great touch and added to the Overall experience. We traveled to town for foods as needed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a couples vacation. "

"Beautiful little cabin, driveway can be a little tricky on a motorcycle since it's grass between two blacktop tire tracks. (but that was only when the grass was wet) would definitely stay there again if it was available and I was back in the area."

"What a weekend! Hurricane Helene came through on the first day of our stay. Autumn (owner) was fabulous with communication! We lost power and water (she warned us of the very likely possibility). Instead of hiking on the AT and biking on the Creeper Trail we spent our weekend helping neighbors. The house was wonderful and we have already planned a return visit. Thanks for everything!!"

"If we hadn't arrived by car, we would have thought it was 1775. Well, there is electricity and running water and a washer and dryer. OK. Maybe 1775 is a stretch, but you get the idea. The Edmonson Lodge is a gem. We stayed 2 nights for a father/daughter trip to the Virginia Creeper Trail, which is only 20 minutes away. There are plenty of beds and enough room. It's clean and has modern conveniences, except WiFi. We liked that we spent more time chatting and playing cards than watching...
