"King Arthur Hotel, a beautiful old buiding, log fires,lots of photos of years gone by. Stayed in a room above the pub, small but suitable for our needs. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Food was excellent. The only criticism is the water pressure of the shower was poor, otherwise an enjoyable experience. "

Booking just a week in advance, I only paid £55 for a two-person room with breakfast included—an absolute bargain! The room was clean and comfortable, though I did struggle a bit with temperature control. The window didn’t close fully, and while the radiator had adjustable heat, it wasn’t entirely clear when it was actually on or off throughout the day. That said, it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Breakfast was great—not anything particularly special, but definitely more than just the bare minimum for a continental breakfast, which was a nice touch. The shower was powerful and clean, though the mounts were a bit loose and wobbly. The location is a little out of the way, so if you don’t have a car, it might not be the most convenient. However, for the price, cleanliness, and overall experience, I’d absolutely stay here again. Perfect for a budget-friendly stay near Bike Park Wales!"
