"This is an excellent place to stay, and it is in all respects what it is advertised to be. The property suffers somewhat from a lack of regular attention -- although this may be because it was the off season. Most of the accoutrements are what you would expect from a mid-range, budget-conscious place to stay, while others (including the pool table and the boats) clearly are more in the "luxury stay" category. "Nice, older, clean cabin. Very comfortable and within 20mins to Boone. Private setting with your own petting zoo. Our kids (and us) loved the animals. They are very docile and learn the have the routine down pat. T-Mobile reception was fine. All the supplies (except food) you need. Hint: there are more supplies under the island. Comfy furnishings and neat older antiques. reasonably close to Blowing Rock, Beech, and Sugar mtn. Hot tub was clean and offers a unique opportunity to star...

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The property is in a great location with gorgeous views and easy lake access. The house was clean, comfortable, and very cozy. The hot tub was fantastic and perfect for cold weather, although I would definitely recommend for summer as well. Our host was very communicative and offered great recommendations for where to go locally. I definitely plan to return and stay for longer!"

"We are 3 friends who love crafting, sewing, quilting, and relaxing. This weekend was about taking time to unwind and heal from life’s demands. Abingdon was about half way between our respective hometowns. Regina is the best host! She has renovated and decorated this cabin to perfection! Plenty of space and comforts abound along with visual reminders to keep it simple. We will be back!"

"Absolutely the most relaxing and worry free trip I have every experienced. Cabin is perfect and had exactly as posted amenities. PO was very accessible and checked in several times to ensure we had no problems. As an added treat, seven deer standing in the yard the morning we departed. "

"We came up for our son’s graduation and had dinner at the cabin afterwards. The cabin is SUPER cute and has a lot of space inside. Not so much outside yard, but the porches are great! A little stream off the mountain was nice to hear. Highly recommend! Not far from Boone/App State"

"So in order for me to write why my husband and child did not stay I had to give a review. I hope the review I gave will be the truth of how the place was. My husband took my son to the Bristol night race. Frist for both of them. He did not know if he would need to get a place or not so I found this little place and he was okay with it. Then after the race he said we are just going to drive home because he felt good. "
