My daughter and myself enjoyed our stay in one of the 2 bedroom one's each room offering a super king size bed and ensuite, TV's in each room, comfortable lounge area and well equipped kitchen, the hotel bar and restaurant is only a short walk across the car park with a great choice of lunch and evening meals available. "Erika's cottage was clean, well equipped and in a quiet location. The view of Blencathra from the back of the cottage is beautiful and we loved seeing the red squirrels who were daily visitors. We didn't meet our hosts so can't comment on them but the emails via VRBO were adequate and we found our way in and around easily. The extra information about the area was very welcome. My only comment about our arrival is that the cottage was extremely cold and it took a while for it to warm up. The...
