It’s within a very short walking distance to everything you could want for a beach getaway—a restaurant literally outside the front door, a nearby beach entrance, a park for the kids, and a grocery mart just five minutes away. Despite the convenience, the cottage felt secluded in a peaceful, quiet setting. Thanks for a fantastic weekend escape! "

"The place is exactly as pictured, and even more charming and comfortable in person. The location is perfect, close to everything but serene and peaceful as well. It's less than a 10 min Uber ride from Berkeley (we were visiting our college kid), and we had no problems getting rides. The communication from the host was above and beyond, which we appreciated. Overall I'd give 10 stars if possible, and we definitely look forward to coming back to hopefully check out more of the surrounding area,...

"The only drawback of this place is that parking on the lane, if you have to carry luggage etc, is impossible, as there is no place to turn around without executing a 12-point turn. So I park on the main street and walk up. The positives are: beautiful sunny room in the morning with a view 'out' over Oakland, closeness to Roberts Regional and other fabulous redwood/sequoia groves and Chabot Science center, relative convenience, close to main roads and arteries. "PERFECT little place! We will be back. The views are amazing, the bed is the most comfortable I've ever slept on away from home, and the location can't be beat. There is a lovely deck, but if you want to sit on the sand, bring your own beach chairs. "
