"8 of us stayed at the villa. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Everything was clean and the hosts offered to refresh towels and linens halfway through our stay (even though there are a washer and dryer available to us at the house). The grounds, view, and lake were pristine and a joy to wake up to daily. Without a car we walked into Gardone Riviera and took the ferry to other towns around the lake. "The house it self and the rooms are big and comfortable. The kitchen however is small in comparison. Garden is very big and usable. Location is good enough to access various places, but some amenities are a few min drive away. The house is right on a fairly busy road but it's not an issue with the windows closed. The pool, while very nice and clean, is quite cold and even in mid August we struggled to utilize it. Overall the property does the job, but for the money, I hoped for something better."

"Incredible location right on the lake and easy walk into Salo. A beautiful town with magnificent promenade and shop lined narrow streets. The villa is dated and in need of repair, however it does add to the charm of the place. We loved our stay and being a group of friends together was magical."

"The place was clean and the heating worked properly. Most of the beds are very uncomfortable opening sofa beds. The place is managed by an agency and not by the owner. You need to get the keys from the agents office which is half an hour drive away. The agent did not know the villa very well, thus could not give accurate information. There is no parking at the villa but there is parking at a nearby street."

"The villa was everything we envisioned and more. This was a celebration vacation for our 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends. There were 10 of us including our 2 1/2,year old grandson. The accommodations were perfect for all of us. Everyone selected their bedrooms and even the attic area had views of the lake. The living area was large and comfortable with amazing views of the lake.The kitchen was very easy to cook in and very well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans etc....

"Great service from Novella when we had problems, no hot water, no water! and a broken dishwasher. Villa was very “tired” very dated decor which made the rooms very dark but spectacular views and a great location"
