"The place was clean and the heating worked properly. Most of the beds are very uncomfortable opening sofa beds. The place is managed by an agency and not by the owner. You need to get the keys from the agents office which is half an hour drive away. The agent did not know the villa very well, thus could not give accurate information. There is no parking at the villa but there is parking at a nearby street."

"The villa was just as advertised! We loved it. We had 4 different apartments so we could have our space at anytime. The kitchens in each apartment were great. Novella, the property manager, was a dream to work with and answered all questions quickly. We also took advantage of the chefs, Manuel and Mahara. "4 couples rented out this house in July 2019. We have known each other for 12 years and were comfortable sharing a bathroom...2 couples per bathroom. The views are exactly as described and seen in the photos. It is a close drive from all the scenic Northern Italy. Train station is in walking distance for those who want train it. "You’ll need a car to visit Salo (which is a very cute town) but the location of the house is fantastic, with a great view. The villa is also well kept, well equipped and has a nice pool. We also appreciated the grocery shopping service and the nice welcome gift (fantastic local oil and wine). Would definitely stay here again."

"Villa Montagne e Lago is a fantastic villa in a beautiful location. Stunning vues across the lake from the garden/pool area. Very clean and well equiped, would comfortably sleep 6 people. You definately need a car to be able to explore the surrounding area, 1.5 miles from nearest main road up a very steep winding road. Would definatley recommend, perfect place for a family holiday!"
