There is no supermarket so you need a car to do the shopping. The old center of Portese was very beautiful and had nice wine bar. One evening there was a very nice market in Portese with barbecue. "The villa is set out of town with no taxi services. The local area is limited with things to do. Good bud service to Salo and other places near by and less than €5. Car essential. Villa is clean and basic."
