I would recommend this house to others. The only thing I would say needed to be improved upon is the sheer curtain over the front door didn’t provide much privacy so we put a sheet over it"

"This house sits on such a beautiful location overlooking the lake. Our hosts were very friendly and made sure everything went smoothly. When the heater didn't work, he came out personally, got it running again, and made sure it would work properly for the rest of our stay."

"Lovely setting overlooking the Illinois river. Plenty of beds, bathrooms, and seating for our family reunion. The fireplaces indoors and outside were great. We loved the piano, which was in tune, for our sing alongs. And the large deck outside was wonderful for enjoying morning coffee and bird watching on the river. The water supply is from a well so bring bottled water for drinking and coffee making if you don‘t like the heavy iron taste of well water. Make sure to catch sunset over the river."
