"I'm a bit torn with this because I paid twice as much as I usually do for hotel when visiting up North as on this particular occasion I wanted to use a pool/spa area to relax. We arrived at 2:10pm to find the room wasn't ready (stated 2pm check in) and wasn't ready until 2:45pm. Gym was alright, lacking a few key bits IMO but it's a hotel gym so can't grumble. Pool, hot tub etc were all great. The room itself the shower screen was knackered to put it best, leaking water and needed seals...

"Very comfortable stay. Wonderful dinner in the restaurant and exceptional breakfast. All the staff were superb friendly and made us feel welcome "

"Had a great time and all was rally good. The tree next to the property needs trimming as it hid the sun. The small pond next to the property needs some urgent work. It stinks and comes into the property. It would put me off staying again."

"Bedrooms were clean, warm and comfortable.Hot tub is big with powerful jets.Fully equipped kitchen where all appliances were in working order.Quiet setting near a canal. Easy access to local town with shops, places to eat etc.Seating area in living room not very comfortable.Lots of steps and big hill to get to main road. In my opinion, not suitable for people with accessibility needs or young children.Overall, excellent value for money. Would recommend."

"Lovely situation with great views. Really nice open plan kitchen/living area. 2 of bedrooms good size but other 2 much too small and this wasn't apparent from the pictures. Hot Tub was a nice luxury and a great place to chill and enjoy the scenery. Not super clean and furniture getting a bit bashed/tired already even though the accommodation is pretty new. These are semi detached and we had a large group next door who were shouting and making a lot of noise into the evening which wasn't ideal."

"The house is very nice, cozy, and.being by the river was great. the internet was slow and I spent 4 hrs trying to load a 14min video to YouTube. I never got an answer back when I asked for help and ended up having to go to a restaurant to do it. "
