"The only toilet facilities was a porta potty which smelled and looked like it had not been emptied in months. Shower did not have a way to lock the door of the only shower, to keep others out. We did not have cell phone reception because of the mountains and no way to contact the owner. No one was around to check us in."

"We were able to have great communication with the hosts Scott and Lynn, and Scott was there to meet us and give a quick lay of the land. We had a nice spot near the creek basically to ourselves and were able to have a great spot near DuPont and Pisgah bike trails! Definitely would recommend!"

"The location couldn’t have been better, everything was in a 1-3 mile radius. The yard was definitely a huge plus. It’s a cute little place, perfect for a short getaway, it has a fully equipped kitchen, the bed was comfortable, and there was a carport. The carpets inside could use some shampooing though."

"We loved staying here! Being close to town was perfect, and we had plenty of room for everyone. The fire pit area is nice, and in warmer weather it would be a nice spot to have lunch or dinner on the picnic table. Just be warned, the hill leading up to town is no joke! We absolutely would stay here again!"
