I might not have a place to stay if it wasn't for their incredible kindness to offer me one of the available rooms. I'm terribly sorry that I forgot her name but If i remember correctly Mariana(The hotel manager) is one of the nicest people you can find around Amsterdam. Thanks to her and other crew members for their kindness and helpfullness. In addition you can rent a bike from the hotel also, so that was a great plus for me. "citizenM Amsterdam South is a unique chain of hotels with a micro footprint focus. Each room has an "open" show and toilet area in the main bedroom, partitioned by a glass tube and or curtain, which takes some getting used to. The staff is stellar, I enjoyed when they called us guest "citizens". The lobby feels akin to a hostel, in that its very communal, even with the likes of business workers. Its affordable and in a good location. Watch out for all the bikes!"
