"My husband and I wanted to get away from the cities for a few days. We chose the lake house for its proximity to Crosby, the view of the lake from the bedroom and living area, and the large sectional. The place exceeded our expectations- snuggling up on the couch, cooking in the open kitchen, sleeping late in the comfy king bed - and best of all, watching the sun set over the lake. And, we were able to bring our little dog along. We wil be back!"

"This rental suited our needs very well. My siblings and myself needed a comfortable and spacious area to finish going through our parents' photos and papers (they have passed). This was perfect, quiet, and had enough room for us. There were a few glitches, a wall heater didn't work, the smoke/carbon monoxide detectors kept going off the entire time (even when trying to sleep). "We had an amazing time ice fishing on Mills Lake and Leech Lake, and this property was the perfect fit for our needs. The home was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area. Five stars and a big thumbs up from us!"

"Location was great. We walked or biked every where we wanted to go including church. The use of the washing machine and dryer was very much appreciated. Tips to make it a 5 star...we had to buy our own hand soap for the bathroom and we filled the propane tank for grilling. The main floor bedroom could use a fan and bedside lamps. The livingroom could also use a few chairs as there was just a couch."

"We rented the cabin to be close to grandview lodge-which was a beautiful snowy walk away. Owners responded quickly to questions. It was large, lots of rooms and bathrooms. For 2 people, it was more than we needed, however i can appreciate the layout amd space. A beautiful kitchen,bedrooms "

"We loved the old house and all the period furnishings. Mostly we loved that it could fit all of us in one place. A short walk to the nice little beach was great. A short drive to Walker or to Brainerd to explore. We had a wonderful time being together, sitting around a campfire, grilling, and playing in the yard."

"It worked out for us as we were able to have a small family reunion and we were able to meet our 2 great, great granddaughters ages 2 and 2 months. the ponds are not usable as far as wading for our 2 mimi schnauzers but they loved smelliing all the wild animal smells from deer and squirrels and chipmunks! plenty of room and patio was nice. Since we are older, the bathroom showers could have been a little bigger and safer but we managed. the step into the house via the kitchen is dangerous. even...

"My sister and I, both in our 80s, returned to the lake where we spent or summers growing up. This place was just down the road from the house our parents built. The weather was fantastic for September as we visited the many places of our youth and met with friends still in the area. The house was a great location for our travels and it had a wonderful deck overlooking the water and golden sunsets. Memories revisited!"
