"It is really a superb hotel. In Matera to be able to sleep in a room "cave" is quite special. The room #5 is large and had everything we needed except a big mirror. The only one was a small square one in the open bathroom above the lavabo and the lighthening was more romantic then useful there! I know it is not the same in every room as every room has a special design and decoration. The reception and the breakfast room are also beautiful. We loved the big terrasse where we could enjoy the sun...

"Habitación muy bonita, con muchos detalles. El desayuno te lo dejan por la mañana en la puerta. Como punto negativo es que para ir andando al centro histórico hay un paseo un poco pesado porque es cuesta arriba, pero se puede hacer. Puedes intentar acercar más el coche, pero el aparcamiento a la entrada del centro está complicado y es de pago. Los alojamientos más céntricos eran demasiado caros y además como digo la habitación era muy bonita y el dueño muy agradable. "

" This is definitely a case of false advertisement. The property claims to have a free self parking on site. When I paid for the reservation they sent me text message instructions explaining where I need to find a place to park and then walk from there to the property 10 to 20 minute on the hilly streets with my luggage. When I made the reservation the picture showed a decent size room with a nice view. In reality the room I was given was tiny with two little toy windows 10×10", no views, ...

"We found La Maison extremely convenient midway between Bari airport and our cruise port in Taranto. It is a family establishment, very clean and safe. "il riscaldamento ( tramite condizionatore) di una delle due stanze era fuori uso per cui no n'è stato possibile utilizzarla costringendo ad utilizzare un'unica stanza matrimoniale. Il riscaldamento dell'acqua era anch'esso fuori uso e pur avvertendo la sera prima non sono stati in grado di risolvere il problema al mattino. Ingiustificabile. "
