Lakes Hotel and Spa
5/5 Excellent
"All staff we encountered were really helpful and friendly. I accidentally locked myself out my locker at the spa at check out date and the staff were more than happy to help.
We were greeted with a welcome drink and after we completed check in, we were told we were upgraded to a room with a hot tub. Oliver helped us to our room and explained how to use the hot tub and explained that the hot tub may be noisy as it is closer to the room than the floors above. The bathrooms may need a little upgrade, however, the room itself was lovely and relaxing.
The spa is nice and relaxing. It isnāt big, however it has the essential, changing rooms with Elemis products, pool, 2 x hot tubs, plunge pool, sauna and steam room. You can get a drink from the bar from inside the spa. Only small con I have is there isnāt many loungers to chill on, however, this will not stop me from going back.
The breakfast was in a beautiful room and really nice spread and options. Staff were a delight too.
The hotel and spa was beautiful and I cannot wait to return. It is £12 to park your car there, however, it is for the full duration of your stay.
The only minor con is the guests who stay in the hot tub, you are on the full view of people, please be mindful of what everyone can see what you are doing.
