So no need to park closer unless you have a walking disability. Very desirable location. The only thing that would have made it better was to let customers know in advance that parking is £12.50 @ night. No nearby free parking in sight. Don’t hesitate to stay here. "

Walls not sound proof so spent the night listening to a neighbour snoring unfortunately but very comfortable bed. Carpet was vacuumed but could do with a shampoo. Excellent breakfast. "The rooms are above a pub, in a convenient location. They are alongside the York art gallery and a very short walk to the Minster. There are a number of pubs and restaurants within a short walk as you would expect. The White Horse is only around 10 minutes walk from the station on well lit busy streets. "We stayed for 3 nights for a Christmas shopping trip, the hotel is in a perfect location very close to York Minster and with lovely bars and restaurants on the doorstep. We were met with a very warm welcome, our room was small but had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend this lovely boutique Guest House"

A complimentary self service breakfast, choose from crumpets brown and white bread for toasting also cearel yogurts and pastries. Tea and coffee and orange juice. Staff very friendly. Peaceful area close to centre via bootham gate. On street parking at a charge of £5 per night. "

"After reading all the great reviews, my partner and I were extremely disappointed with our stay. Upon arrival, we were unsure how to enter the property. We rang the bell but there was no answer.
