"The lobby and restaurant are gorgeous, but the rooms aren't nearly as fancy. My room was perfectly nice, but I don't think it matched the price or how ostentatious the rest of the hotel was. It was a solid 3 star hotel room, clean and comfortable with all the amenities, though was a bit dark because there's no overhead light and the window didn't let in much natural light (it was blocked by the opposing wall of the hotel). "We have been staying at this hotel for over 15 years. On this occasion we left my husbands medication in the mini fridge and when we called just a couple of hours after check out to let them know and that we could come back to collect it we were told it was not there. This means it had not been saved as lost property by the housekeepers and had been discarded. In our opinion this is not good practise. "

"Check in staff and front desk were lovely! I booked online as I arrived as the walk in rate was £12 more and she was patient. Room service was very quick and food was good. Pool is great and takes less than 10 mins to get to legoland. The legoland hotel was fully booked but this is a great alternative. Room was massive and overall very happy and half the price "

"Very impressed with the attitude and helpful staff at The Copthorne- it’s very difficult during COVID but Peter and Toni do their best to ensure everything available is explained fully and keep a smile on their face throughout! All the staff were very very pleasant and the hotel might require an update after the covid recovery but it’s very clean warm comfortable and value for money Thank you "
