"What we liked is that this was a real neighborhood, not just a tourist area. It was an easy walk from the main train station connecting to Lisbon. the hotel itself is spanking brand new and the bed was big and comfortable. Also less than two blocks away was an amazing local bakery (Chicana) which was amazingly cheap for that quality of pastries, bread and coffee. Their English is limited, but you will be fine. "Without doubt this is the best hotel in town for the last over 10 years that I have been coming to Porto. The service is absolutely outstanding and the furnitureof high quality! This is a 5 star hotel so it is not cheap but well worth the price. We highly recommend!"

"Andrea was very nice and helpful during check in and everything. Also, the ladies at breakfast and the man that helped me get a late check out as I was not feeling my best. Room was comfortable, everything was clean and the garden is really pretty. "

"Comfy and spacious apartment. Within walking distance of most areas of town (keep in mind that Porto is quite hilly). Loads of little eateries nearby, though the kithen facilities are very acceptable should you wish to cook in (there's a supermarket nearby). Especially helpful staff, though they're only physically onsite from about 3-8pm (on-call the rest of the time)."

We did breakfast there every day and then walked to the main part of Porto (but we often walk over 20,000 steps a day when we travel -- FYI.)"
