"This was our second time staying at Abezza, but it won't be our last! The first time we only stayed a single night, as we were driving around the country ourselves. We were a little unsure of what we would be arriving at, as it's a bit off the beaten path(it's not like you'll wander onto the property off the street in Belize City). It's about an hour drive; very scenic! Our second time we stayed a few nights as a parents getaway, and got to actually enjoy the different pools. We had a hot tub in our room which was very awesome! The food was delicious, the staff were always courteous, and we adore Mel & her family. They're very welcoming and down to earth. The rooms we had were clean, and we didn't experience any issue. I'd highly recommend Abezza (formerly Belize Boutique Resort & Spa) to anyone looking for a relaxing time in nature. My only recommendation would be, try to stay for around 5 nights. You'll have time to do some exploring, but also make sure you aren't off property all day every day because it's so nice to relax doing nothing but enjoying the environment! Can't wait til we return. One thing, make sure you write down their address because Belize immigration will want to know where you're staying at. Apparently it's a true hidden gem because the person we got didn't know what "Abezza, the resort in Maskall" was. We simply showed him the booking info and he made some note and that was that. "

"We loved every minute spent at Palm Life. It felt safe, peaceful, and was very, very comfortable, equipped with all modern conveniences. It's a bit off the beaten path on the north island of Caye Caulker, but just a 20-minute walk or 10-minute bike ride from El Ben Cabanas resort, which has a great restaurant and pool facilities available to Palm Life guests (El Ben and nearby Happy Lobster also deliver and provide golf cart transport to and from their restaurants). Grocery store is close as well. Also easy to get back and forth across The Split to south island, or north to Bliss Beach, via boat from Palm Life's pier. Best thing about this accommodation is the on-site management, which responded immediately to every single inquiry or concern from the booking process on, then repeatedly went beyond the call of duty to earn our trust and ensure we had everything we needed while there."

"This was an absolutely perfect home for our family vacation. It was great for our four generations of family and in-laws. Everyone had their own space. There really weren't any problems other than we had an issue with our golf cart in add contact of the company and got it replaced in under an hour. Iris was quick to get us any necessities we need and the visits from Noodles were great. The great thing is is that you can get to town or have excursions pick you up right on the dock but also if you don't want to go anywhere everything you need is right at the house including the ocean a dock a pool and anything you need to just make it a day at the resort vacation. "

"Lot of staff. Good comms. Spacious condo units run by a management company. Bit far south means quiet but also bumpy 20min ride to town. One of our party took a fall in a boat on a tour arranged by management. Not really their fault. They were very supportive & communicative to get her down to the hospital to be checked out. Would recommend the place. Just know what you’re getting into with the location. It’s not the time but the very bumpy ride to keep in mind but that’s also why it’s quieter. "

"Lisa and Ed did everything possible to make our stay fantastic. We were two families with 8 people total and the house was more than big enough for everyone to have plenty of room. The pool, pier, and area for games provided plenty of options for activities at the house, and we enjoyed golf carting around the island. The house was clean and in great condition. Caretakers Iris and Eldon took great care of us."

"We (family of 4) stayed 4 nights at Bay Towers. We enjoyed our stay and the beautiful views. It was nice having a kitchen to use. The pool and dock were lovely! The AC was not working properly when we arrived, but the staff were prompt to have it repaired. The beds were comfortable! One thing to note: laundry is not included in the accommodation costs, nor is it available every day. We wish we would have known this ahead of time. But overall, Bay Towers was a great spot to stay! Thank you. "

"Tarpon Bay Breezes is an excellent place to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life. Communication with host Julie was great from the get-go to the moment of departure. Communication with guest concierge Eva was good too.The villa is located about 35 golf-cart minutes from the airport, 25 of which dirt road. Main way of transportation is by golf carts. Driving on the dirt road was a bit challenging due to lots of potholes and puddles (locals said it was worse than normal). My husband and my son however, loved navigating the dirt road and developed a new appreciation for how versatile golf carts actually are. The villa was just as described and shown in the pictures on VRBO. We got quite a bit of rain during our stay so we were not able to use the rooftop patio a lot. I spent a lot of time in the villa while my husband and son were out diving. Currently (December 2024) there is construction going on in the area. I was also surprised to see/hear how many airplanes fly over the villa on a daily basis, some even very low. So if you are expecting a quiet spot away from San Pedro, you might have to this into consideration. Overall, the three of us really enjoyed our stay at Tarpon Bay Breezes and we would definitely recommend staying here."
