"Cosy cottage house with a lovely large deck and backyard with direct access to the lake. We enjoyed the house amenities. Not sure the dishwasher works well: dishes in the kitchen cabinets were not the cleanest upon arrival. The bathroom water had a strange sulfur-like smell. We used bottled water to brush teeth and did not drink out of the kitchen either. Other than that, the house was quite pleasant and comfortable."

"Beautiful house, sitting high and overlooking the Connecticut River. Can't imagine a more beautiful setting. Very large kitchen, great for cooking in with friends. Even has an adjacent helicopter pad (although it's $4k to go from Hartford airport to the house, 1-way!). Had a great time."

Walking around the property accompanied by three happy dogs while hearing the goats bleating and the chickens crowing in the background only added to the quiet winter magic. "Overall do not stay in this house! They are scamming people! They say they are military family yet took advantage of one!! Still owe me my refund and refuse to answer VRBO to give the okay to refund my money! This place was not clean it was very unsanitary and there were drug paraphernalia in the backyard! Towels wet and dirty on the bathroom floor and one of the bedrooms the sheets were dirty in the floor claimed that the house keeper cleaned it! The pool was disgusting!! I have videos pictures...
