"It was clean for the most part with the exception of some stains on one of the beddings. The staff was helpful and courteous. I like that they have a mini store to get food with having a microwave in the room and that it's close to the parks."

"Not much to complain about. We had a nice clean room, warm showers, and comfortable beds. And the staff was great! That is really all I need when I stay in a hotel. That being said, be mindful that they are under renovations, which I didn't know. This is the reason for not given 5 stars all across the board. I was a bit disappointed because the my reason to book this hotal and not others was beacuase of the pool and free breakfast. The pool isn't open (was unaware of renovations). The cook was hospitalized, so we did not have breakfast for two mornings (at no ones fault.)"

"Nice breakfast every morning with a variety of items. Both indoor and outdoor pools were excellent. Rooms were spacious and clean and included a decent size refrigerator and a small microwave. Also liked the big sink area in room and private porch. Close and convenient location between Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. Only small thing that affected me during the stay was one of the main elevators was out most of my trip, but I am sure the hotel will get that fixed very soon. Would definitely stay there again on a future visit."

"I didn’t expect much but was pleasantly surprised , the on premise owners were welcoming and very friendly , extending pool hours when possible , and more , though the property was old , it was maintained, clean sheets , bathrooms and more , there was a small buffet breakfast with a gallon of milk and sunny D , toast and bagels and a few mini muffins , along with condiments , perfect for a start to the day The pool area was spotless with a few chairs and recliners a perfect end to our night This hotel was extremely reasonable and I went in with very low expectations , but was very surprised for what it truly was , an older property reasonably priced , and I fell like if you have any issues the owners will make every honest attempt to accommodate , I personally lived all the maintained little plants at the main entry , a sign of the dedication and love of the owners "

"Friendly staff. CLEAN room. We felt safe in the area. If you know ahead of time this is not a luxury hotel & bring all the things you’ll need other than sheets, pillows, & towels, then you should be all set. We were just in town to visit family, so cleanliness & safety were our top priorities, so this place was perfect. We loved that it had a full size fridge, microwave, & two burners to give us the option of eating some meals in the room. "
