"This is an incredible place to stay! Your view from an altitude of 4500 feet looking across at the snowcapped Wetterhorn Is lovely, with excellent views of the valley below and the Schwartzhorn as well. The chalet is comfortable, clean, and very peaceful. The host is just wonderful and is friendly, generous, and helpful. I highly recommend this place!"

We found the accommodations very comfortable and the kitchen was a good size for having meals with a large group. "We were a group of 9- multi- generational with ages 8 to 70. This home was very family- friendly with lots of spaces to spread out, and a large dining table for gathering for meals. It is a bit of a hike to get there, including 60 steps, but quiet and in a lovely setting with a great view of the Jungfrau from the balcony and back terrace. "Cannot give anything else other than 5 stars purely for the location. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds although the doubles were 2 camp beds pushed together. Nice cabin feel but could do with being updated. TV was too small but the view outside made up for this. WiFi was good with no dropping out at all. Bathrooms were dated but the water was hot and the showers were very powerful, Towels were not adequate for a weeks stay, one medium bath towel and one hand towel per person, we...

"We enjoyed our stay in Lauterbrunnen. While the town itself was very busy the central location of Lauterbrunnen allowed us to quickly escape the hustle and bustle and explore the surrounding mountains. The home had everything we needed. For us as international travellers it would have been helpful to have some instructions on the laundry machines and oven, as the symbols were different. All in all a wonderful stay. "

"Our family of 5 (aged 18+) had a wonderful stay in Chalet Esther, Brienz. The weather was perfect while we were there, so we spent most of our time exploring the whole area. But, we always came home for dinner together. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook (no microwave), and grocery stores were easy to get to. We are a tall family, so be aware that anyone 6 feet tall or more will be at risk of hitting their head often. We lovingly referred to Chalet Esther as our dollhouse as low...

A few cows and chickens within the entrance to the studio. Cindy was really helpful with recommendations and also dropped us off for dinner one night.
