"The property is housed in a lovely stone building very befitting the Auld Grey Toon. When entering the property we were struck by how grand and beautiful it was whilst maintaining a very cozy and homely feeling. The decor and amenities were of the highest order. The underfloor heating in the bathroom is a welcome touch in the winter. The flat is very close to the main streets of the town. "Booked a one week stay at this lovely bijou property. Small but perfectly formed. Beautiful location. On street parking, so a bit hit and miss, but we always managed to find a spot. A couple of small suggestions. The bedroom next to the kitchen could do with a night stand / bedside table. The kitchen table and chairs are too heavy and very uncomfortable. "

"Used this apartment in north Berwick for a golf weekend for 8 ‘golfers’. Flat was just as described on listing, if not better!!! Directly above the shop inn which was handy for a drink and the restaurants and shops are pretty close by. Parking was straight forward to find nearby and we had 4 cars with us. More detailed information re parking could be provided, we had to check with the very helpful and friendly traffic wardens. Also more information as to where the 'rubbish' could be taken. "The apartment was overall very good, only let down by a poorly fitted kitchen tap, which was very wobbly but worked. We appreciated the supplied teabags, sachets of coffee, soap, towels etc. The deposit system was a bit confusing - I expected to see a £250 payment on my card to be followed by a refund, but it seems they just held the card details "in case" so I guess no charge will be made now, after over a week. "We had a lovely 2 night stay here- place was spotless and all amenities catered for. Lovely quiet area and we walked in and out to St Andrews centre. Only criticism would be the main bedroom only has a patio door for ventilation which can’t be left open all night. There were no other options to open a window. This room has the boiler and the water heater so we found the room was far too warm during the night."

Stairs were noted in property description and definitely an issue if you had significant luggage.
