"The Jolly Poacher is a true gem. The beautifully presented interior immediately impresses, creating a warm and cozy vibe that makes you feel right at home. If you love flyfishing, there is a treasure trove of memorabilia to keep you entertained. We stayed as a family for two nights and the highlight for my daughter was feeding the calf over the fence. The location is a dream—just a short drive to the local wineries and downtown Blenheim. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, going above and...

"Wonderful stay with our hosts who did more than was expected. Nothing was a problem. They even met us at the train station with our luggage so we would not have to walk back from town. What a treat breakfast was. I would book again in a heartbeat. "

Olde Mill House B&B
4.0 star property

"This place was great. Pretty, good breakfast, good location. Except it is not handicap accessible. If I had known that there were stepp, irregular, slanted and long steps to front door without even a railing, I would not have booked. Also difficult if you habe heavy luggage. I think the fact that it isn't accessible should be in the description."

"The hosts were very helpful and helped us plan the best activities for our stay and organise them. The view from our balcony and the shared lounge were fabulous. Food and refreshments were excellent. We would happily return if in New Zealand again and would recommend it as a great location and place to stay if asked. The scenery and closeness to Queen Charlotte Track were wonderful. "

"I booked my stay at 2 Kiwis on Ward for some much needed Rest and Relaxation and wasn't disappointed. Jax my host is kind, caring and warm hearted and provides a service and space that is second to none. Wonderful little touches all round, from the breakfast supplies, toiletries, entertainment ( DVD's and a selection of reading materials ) and the beautiful private outdoor area. 2 Kiwis on Ward had it all. Jax was friendly, helpful and spent time talking with me and making both myself and my Fur...

"The unit was a great layout, good location, had everything we needed. However unfortunately there was a strong musty smell when we first entered & lingered the whole time. Whenever the place was closed up for a few hours, when we re-entered it was really strong again. Quite disappointing "
