"The owners have put in some work and expense to update the rooms. They are lovely and quite comfortable. The only thing I would say is that the mattress is harder than I like."

"I had a 6 am flight so chose Blue House Suite because it's very near (2 miles) the airport. I previously stayed at a motel a couple miles further south for this purpose, and it was cold and noisy. BHS was perfect. Very comfortable, clean and quiet (I'm very sound sensitive). It had all the amenities I could want, well beyond any motel. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. In the wee hours of the morning, I departed for the airport just 7 minutes away, well rested and happy with my experience. "

"If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. Everything at the cabin was great. The only downfall is the location. Most of the infrastructure is 20-30 minutes away, so make sure that you have your gas tank filled and all of the food that you need when you get to the cabin. We mostly spent the days away hitting the coast, so we only had to make the trip once per day, but one time we came home on Sunday evening and couldn't find an open restaurant nearby, so had to drive back to Florence and were able to find a few options still open."
