"April's guest house was a great find. It's located right on the north edge of town so while you are a short drive from anything in town, you also are very close to the airport and the countryside which makes for a pleasant stroll with orchards, horses, and the river as a backdrop. This would be a perfect place for a base for wine tasting or if playing in an event at Shadow Hills or Eugene Country Club. The guest house is well supplied, has plenty of room and beautifully maintained grounds. I would definitely recommend this to people who want a little escape at the end of the day without being inconvenienced. It's also pet friendly which is a huge plus."

"I had a 6 am flight so chose Blue House Suite because it's very near (2 miles) the airport. I previously stayed at a motel a couple miles further south for this purpose, and it was cold and noisy. BHS was perfect. Very comfortable, clean and quiet (I'm very sound sensitive). It had all the amenities I could want, well beyond any motel. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. In the wee hours of the morning, I departed for the airport just 7 minutes away, well rested and happy with my experience. "

It was the right distance to feel truly separate from everything, and still feel in the mix of everything when we wanted to be. It was a great home base to cook meals and have personal space while also getting into the downtown area for meals and walks along the river as well as classes."
